It seems like everyday social media is becoming more imperative in everyday life. What may have first seemed like a way to catch up with old friends is so much more than that. More and more job listings, including those in Silicon Valley, are using the keyword “Facebook” (28,500 since March 3rd just on SimplyHired.com to be exact). So maybe the social media sites you once thought were only good for catching up with old friends can now catch you a job.
